Nickelodeon Latin America Announces Kids' Choice Awards México 2019 Pre-Vote Nominees

Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) has announced the pre-nominees for Kids' Choice Awards México 2019!


To kick-off Kids' Choice Awards México 2019, the 10th annual Kids' Choice Awards México, Nickelodeon has unveiled 20 award categories each featuring eight nominees. NickHeads in Mexico can now vote for their favourites to become finalists in each category, with the top four most voted for nominees in each category going onto the final stage of voting, in which NickHeads will be able to vote who wins a coveted Nickelodeon Orange Blimp Award at the star and slime-studded Kids' Choice Awards México 2019 ceremony later this year!

Fans can vote for their favourites via three voting methods: online at KCAMexico.com, via the Nick Play app (available to download for free on iOS and Android devices at http://play.mundonick.com), and on Twitter using the hashtag formula below. Fans can vote as many times as they wish to support their favourites from the worlds of entertainment, music, sports and more!

Voting in the preliminary round of Kids' Choice Awards México 2019 launched Tuesday 18th June 2019, and will close on Wednesday 17th July 2019.

Each voting Tweet must feature both the unique hashtag and #KCAMEXICO in it for the vote to be counted:

For example, if you want to see Club 57 win the blimp for Show Favorito, your Tweet should look similar to:

Mattel Unveils Hot Wheels Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon Vehicle SDCC 2019 Exclusive

One of the most beloved pieces of iconography of the classic '80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series was their famous Party Wagon, a.k.a. the “Turtle Van.” First arriving in toy form over 30 years ago, this trusty van was the mobile HQ for Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo on the classic cartoon. It later reappeared in several future incarnations of the series as well. Now get ready to yell out “Cowabunga dude!” all over again, as Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand is recreating the TMNT Party Wagon from the classic original series just in time for Comic-Con 2019!


This die-cast Pulverizing Pavement Pounder van, aimed at adult collectors, pops out of a downtown sewer armed to the half shell with missiles, machine guns, and more. You can also raise and lower the twin missile launchers, and open the side door to check out your favorite band of heroes getting ready for battle—or just have the most awesome pizza party ever! The van comes in New York City manhole-themed packing. This 2019 Convention Exclusive will come in at $25, and be available for pre-order starting on June 17. It can also be purchased in person at Mattel’s San Diego Comic-Con retail booth on July 17. Limited quantities will be available. More Nick: Nickelodeon to Host '35 Years of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Interactive Exhibit at the Paley Center for Media in NYC to Celebrate 35th Anniversary of TMNT!

Although not originally part of the comic books, The Party Wagon made its first appearance on the 1987 animated series, and later turned up in the 2012 reboot on Nickelodeon, and in Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies TMNT films. It most recently showed up in the animated Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover movie which came out just this year. In the early ’90s, there was even almost a toy of the Party Wagon that turned into a giant robot, but that sadly never came to pass. But who knows what the future holds? I wouldn’t be surprised if this legendary unmade toy finds a way to become a convention exclusive itself one day.

Mattel started accepting pre-orders for the Hot Wheels/TMNT Party Wagon today (June 17), however, it quickly sold out. I'm not entirely sure whether they'll be getting more in, so keep at eye out at shop.mattel.com!

Paramount to Release 'Wonder Park' on DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday, June 18, 2019

Buckle up for an epic adventure where anything is possible! A young girl named June with a big imagination makes an incredible discovery – the amusement park of her dreams has come to life. Filled with the world’s wildest rides operated by fun-loving animals, the excitement never ends. But when trouble hits, June and her misfit team of furry friends begin an unforgettable journey to save the park. Action-packed and brimming with laughs, Wonder Park is a ride the whole family will love.


When the park of her dreams needs saving, only June’s imagination can bring it back to life!


A tribute to creativity, Wonder Park tells the story of 10-year-old June, a wildly imaginative young girl who builds models of amusements parks with rides like the Skyflinger, Fantastic Fish Carousel, and Zero-G-Land with her mother. When June gets older, she starts to lose her sense of wonder and begins to shun her childhood ideas, including the idea of the park, packing away her models away. Nevertheless, her childhood catches up with her!

One day whilst exploring deep in the woods, in a magical moment, she discovers a roller coaster car buried under ivy. It transports her to a fantastical wonder park, like the ones she used to build, populated by animals who were its past employees. But the park is broken down, abandoned and in a state of decay.

June soon rediscovers the wonder of her world, and teams up with a whole host of talking animals to restore the park to its full glory, complete with spinning contraptions and inverting roller coasters, all whilst contending with a invasion of a army of cheeky chimpanzombies looking to stir up all kinds of destructive mischief.

The US version of the movie includes Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Rules Don’t Apply, The Producers) as Dad, Jennifer Garner (Nine Lives, The Tribes of Palos Verdes) as Mom, Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, SNL) as Gus, Ken Jeong (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Bob’s Burgers) as Cooper, Mila Kunis (Family Guy, A Bad Moms Christmas) as Greta, John Oliver (The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, live-action Lion King) as Steve, Ken Hudson Campbell, who voices Boomer the Bear, Sofia Mali as Young June, Brianna Denski (Momsters: When Moms Go Bad) as June, Oev Michael Urbas as Banky, Norbert Leo Butz (Bloodline) as Peanut, Kate McGregor-Stewart as Aunt Albertine, Kevin Chamberlin as Uncle Tony, Kath Soucie (Rugrats, Hey Arnold!) as Bus Counselor Shannon, and Noen Perez as Chatty Kid.

The PG-rated film is written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) from a story by Applebaum (Origin), Nemec (Knightfall), and Robert Gordon (Galaxy Quest). Appelbaum, Nemec, and Kendra Haaland serve as producers, with Karen Rosenfelt and Don Hahn executive producing. The movie is being produced by Paramount Animation, Nickelodeon Movies and Ilion Animation Studios.

A Wonder Park animated television series based on the film will also debut on Nickelodeon.

By Royal Appointment: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star Meet Albert II, Prince of Monaco and His Children at SpongeBob Family Day in Monaco

Normally, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star hang out with undersea royalty such as King Neptune and Princess Mindy. However, on Sunday 16th June 2019, SpongeBob and Patrick came above ground to meet three more royals, Albert II, Prince of Monaco and his twin children, Jacques and Gabriella!


SpongeBob and Patrick met the royal family of Monaco at the "SpongeBob Family Day", a special yellow-carpet event celebrating SpongeBob SquarePants' 20th anniversary held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, which was hosted in partnership with Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) and the Monte Carlo Television Festival. During the meet and greet, the twins got to hug and kiss the Nickelodeon superstars.

The event also honored Stephen Hillenburg, one of the Foundation's illustrious award winners, for his groundbreaking work in creating one of the most beloved cartoon characters of all time, SpongeBob SquarePants. Tom Kenny, voice of SpongeBob SquarePants and Bill Fagerbakke, voice of Patrick were also on hand to celebrate along with other VIP guests, including Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale, sponsored the day, especially meaningful as SpongeBob SquarePants has taught children worldwide about the importance of caring for marine life and our oceans.

Danny Tamberelli and Wife Katelyn Detweiler Welcome Baby Son, Alfred "Alfie" Noel Tamberelli

A huge congratulations to '90s Nickelodeon star Danny Tamberelli and his wife, Katelyn Detweiler, who have just welcomed their first baby together!

The former Nickelodeon star, 37, and his wife Katelyn Detweiler welcomed their first child, a son, on Friday, June 14, 2019 — just in time for Tamberelli’s first Father’s Day — the couple announced Monday on Instagram.

Alfred “Alfie” Noel Tamberelli was born at 3:19 a.m. in New York City after a “very short, totally natural labor,” according to the new dad.

“Was a little busy yesterday but got to celebrate Father’s Day for the first time and it was the most special day! He and momma are doing great!” Tamberelli captioned a series of photos of his new family of three.

“Around two hours total from admittance to delivery!! She’s a wonder woman and he’s the most precious thing in the world. I never knew what sense of purpose, devotion and unconditional love this would produce, but it makes my head spin with gratitude.”

On her own Instagram, Detweiler shared a gallery of hospital photos, writing, “So happy to be a mama to this special human, and so happy to watch @dannytamberelli celebrate his first father’s day, already a master swaddler and my own personal diaper mentor. Alfie is the luckiest to have a daddy like you, and I can’t wait to spend this entire summer (and beyond) weeping along to “beautiful boy, darling boy” with you while we fall deeper in love with our own beautiful, darling boy.”

She’s a wonder woman and he’s the most precious thing in the world. I never knew what sense of purpose, devotion and unconditional love this would produce, but it makes my head spin with gratitude. Mommy, Daddy and Alfie are back home in Brooklyn now loving and learning about each other. Side note: I wept driving over the Brooklyn Bridge on the way home listening to Sinatra explaining to Alfie how important that bridge was and how much his namesake, my grandfather, loved Sinatra. Daddy loves you forever. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead.

Tamberelli and Detweiler revealed their pregnancy news in February, with the actor sharing a photo of his wife showing off her baby bump.

“Doesn’t matter what day it is, my love for you is always on 11! Can’t begin to explain the happiness I feel knowing that we are rolling into parenthood together, so in love and ready to continue our adventure!” he captioned it.

“Could be a Pete or Petunia … We opted for a life surprise! More to come mid June!!” added Tamberelli, referring to his character Little Pete on The Adventures of Pete & Pete and the character’s tattoo of a woman named Petunia.


“Three deterellis > two deterellis! celebrating all the love every day with my two beating hearts so psyched to watch @dannytamberelli become the world’s coolest dad, and to answer the burning question: will the ginger gene live on in our little junebug?!” the then-mom-to-be shared alongside her own announcement.

The couple wed in May 2018 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, following over a year of dating after meeting on the dating app Tinder. Among the members of the bridal party — including 12 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen — was Michael Maronna, who was Tamberelli’s titular costar on Pete & Pete.

Tamberelli is also best known for his roles as Tommy in The Mighty Ducks, Arnold Perlstein in The Magic School Bus and as one of the cast members for Nickelodeon’s All That from seasons 4 through 6. He also guest starred on Nickelodeon's Space Cases and was a regular panellist on Figure It Out.

Ahead of their little one’s arrival, the couple celebrated at a “June bug”-themed baby shower featuring gender-neutral decorations and lots of treats. Guests even wore “antenna” headbands!


“Little junebug was showered with so much love yesterday, and our hearts are bursting with gratitude,” Detweiler captioned a photo gallery from the sweet bash. “Junebug is one lucky baby to join this community of beautiful humans ❤️🐞👶🏻”
