All great things must come to a end, and unfortunately, Nickelodeon's hit original musical comedy series "Big Time Rush" is no exception.
The Nickelodeon UK and Ireland fanblog NickUKHub is reporting the bittersweet Big Time News that the online British and Irish TV guide Digiguide has announced that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will premiere and show the brand new one-hour (two-part) series finale episode/movie of "Big Time Rush", called "Big Time Dreams", on Saturday 21st December 2013 at 5:30pm (replayed at 6:30pm on Nick+1), as part of Nickelodeon UK's Winter 2013 highlights. Nick UK & Eire will continue to premiere all-new episodes of BTR every Saturday at 5:30pm and 6:00pm (repeated at 6:30pm and 7:00pm) until the debut of the brand new special.
In the all-new episode of "Big Time Rush", called "Big Time Dreams", which is rumored to be the shows final episode, the BTR guys are invited to the 24th annual Tween Choice Awards, where the boy banders are nominated for a award and are booked to close the show.
However, before the foursome can take the stage, they uncover an evil plot to brainwash everyone in the audience. So Big Time Rush have to take down the bad guys and make sure the show rolls on as scheduled. The episode will guest star Austin Mahone as himself, Mindless Behavior as themselves, Nick Cannon ("All That", "The Nick Cannon Show", "Rags", the host of the "TeenNick Halo Awards" and the Chairman of 'TeenNick') as himself, Karmin as themselves, and Alexa Vega as herself. Episode notes: The Tween Choice Awards is a parody of the Teen Choice Awards. The goop that fell on Camille and Jo when they went up to present an award was a parody of the green slime used at the Kids Choice Awards. This is an hour-long TV special which could possibly connected with "Big Time Movie", based on similarities in plots (both contain spy elements and dream plot points).

Nickelodeon Unveils Philippines Typhoon Haiyan PSA With Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande To Urge People To Donate To UNICEF
Due to the recent tragedy in Philippines, in which Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest storm ever to make landfall, struck the central Philippines on Friday 8th November 2013, causing catastrophic damage, Nickelodeon Stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, the stars of Nick's original comedy series "Sam & Cat", have recorded a very special and important Public Service Announcement as part of Nickelodeon's "The Big Help" pro-social program to encourage viewers to donate to children's charity UNICEF, the world's leading organisation working for children, to help deliver aid to children affected by the tragedy, and to deliver the reassuring message that, together with viewers, they stand side-by-side with our friends in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan, a 300-mile wide typhoon – locally known as Yolanda – which has left a trail of destruction in its wake.
You can donate to Unicef's Philippines Typhoon Haiyan donation appeal at supportunicef.org/philippines. Together, we can make a difference to meet the urgent needs of children affected by the disaster.
