Nick Jr. India to Premiere 'Munki and Trunk', New 'Masha and the Bear' Episodes From Dec. 24
Nick Jr. India will premiere Munki and Trunk, a dialogue-free South African CG-animated TV series from Cape Town based animation studio Sunrise Productions, on Sunday 24th December 2023 at 3:30pm. The series follows best friends Munki, a bold, banana-juggling adventurer, and Trunk, a big-hearted and optimistic elephant. They do everything together - swinging, stomping and somersaulting as they explore their jungle world, hatching plans, solving problems, having fun and helping friends along the way. Munki and Trunk previously aired on Nickelodeon Sonic.
In additional news, the Nick Jr. channel in India will start to premiere brand new episodes of Masha and the Bear from Sunday 24th December 2023 at 12:00pm. The news comes as Masha and the Bear Live: A Very Detective Story is currently touring India.

Nick Jr. India To Premiere 'Masha's Tales' On Monday 8th January 2018
Nick Jr. India will start to premiere and show Masha's Tales weekdays at 4:00pm from Monday 8th January 2018!
A spin-off from the popular CG-animated preschool series Masha and the Bear, Masha's Tales features Masha, who gives popular fairy tales a funny twist in a way only she can.
Masha is a big fan of fairy tales, but sometimes gets the details a little jumbled up. Follow along as Masha tells her unique versions of popular fairy tales in a childlike manner, mixing up both storylines and characters, but always coming up with original advice. Beautifully animated, this engaging series entertains families with a funny twist on traditional stories.
Masha and the Bear is created by Oleg Kuzokov and produced by Moscow-based Animaccord, which is currently working on the show’s third season.
Masha and the Bear debuted in India last year on Viacom18's (the parent company on Nickelodeon India) SVOD platform VOOT Kids, and premiered on Nick Jr. India on Monday 13th November 2017. Viacom18 has the rights to Masha and the Bear, Masha’s Spooky Stories and Masha’s Tales.

Nick Jr. India To Premiere 'Masha And The Bear' On Monday 13th November 2017
Animaccord's Masha and the Bear is making its way to Nick Jr. in India, in a deal that expands the popular cartoon's presence in the region. The CG-preschool series first premiered in India earlier this year on Viacom18's SVOD platform VOOT Kids.
Masha and the Bear will debut on Nick Jr. India on Monday 13th November 2017. Episodes from season one will broadcast twice a day at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Sunday.
Masha and the Bear follows the many heartwarming tales of a mischievous three-year-old girl and her retired circus star friend, Bear.
Masha is an energetic three-year-old who lives in an old train station in the forest. Precocious, silly, and friendly with everyone she meets, this energetic girl can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble.
Bear is a warm, fatherly figure who does his best to guide his friend and keep her from harm, often ending up the unintended victim of her misadventures. Though he enjoys his quiet time alone, he misses those moments when Masha is not around.
Together with a rag-tag group of friendly animals that have made the forest their home, Masha and the Bear entertains adults and children alike, teaching viewers about creativity, loyalty and true friendship.

It began airing nine years ago in Russia (locally titled Маша и медведь) and has since expanded to more than 100 countries via broadcasters like SBT (Brazil), Rai Yo-Yo (Italy), Canal 5 (Mexico) and KiKA (Germany). Recently, Masha landed on Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse in Canada and joined NBCU-owned Universal Kids in the US. The series picked up a Kids' Choice Award for "Favourite Russian Cartoon" in Nickelodeon Russia's localised categories of Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards.
Animaccord secured the deal that will see Masha and the Bear air on Nick Jr. India.
