The newly founded TV and video ad sales joint venture by Axel Springer and Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) began operations on January 11, 2016. Prior to this, the necessary regulatory approval had been granted. This paved the way for VIMN to acquire a stake in N24 marketer thads.media, thereby formally establishing the joint venture. Accompanying the launch of operational activities, the new company also unveiled its name – Visoon Video Impact GmbH & Co.KG.

The portfolio of Visoon Video Impact comprises all TV services offered by Axel Springer SE and Viacom International Media networks in Germany. These include the channels Comedy Central, MTV, N24, Nickelodeon/Nicknight, and VIVA. In addition, the company is taking over ad sales for online video and other digital content of VIMN. Bringing together the marketing expertise of Axel Springer and VIMN in the field of TV and online video allows advertising clients to benefit from an increased reach and additional opportunities for innovative advertising solutions in quality environments.

Axel Springer holds 51 percent of the shares in Visoon Video Impact, Viacom International Media Networks holds 49 percent. Alongside Franjo Martinovic and André Mendo, the management board also includes Kai Ladwig. The company has offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt. The corporate design associated with the name Visoon Video Impact will be presented in the coming days.
