Tenzing Norgay Trainor To Guest Star on Nickelodeon's 'Knight Squad'

Tenzing Norgay Trainor is hopping networks, reuniting with his former Liv and Maddie showrunners!

The 16-year-old actor, who played Parker *insert mysterious/still not revealed middle name here* Rooney on the show, will be guest starring on Nickelodeon’s new series, Knight Squad.

Revealed by Ron Hart this morning, Tenzing will be playing a character named Jimbo. No word on yet this is a one time thing, recurring, or may turn into a regular gig. Hart also revealed a first-look at the official Knight Squad logo!

While not much is known about the episode Tenzing will be appearing in, it is known that it’s hilarious, courtesy of series star Lilimar.

“I legit could not get through this table read, I was laughing so damn much,” she wrote on Twitter.

Knight Squad is set at a magical school for knights in training, where two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams.

The series will star Owen Joyner (100 Things To Do Before High School) as “Arc,” Daniella Perkins (Legendary Dudas, Blurt) as “Ciara,” Amarr M. Wooten (American Housewife) as “Warwick,” Lexi DiBenedetto (Modern Family) as “Prudence,” Lilimar (Bella and the Bulldogs) as “Sage” and Kelly Perine (Santa Hunters) as “Sir Gareth.

Picked up for an initial 20 episodes, Knight Squad is created and executive produced by Sean Cunningham and Marc Dworkin, executive producers of The Thundermans, and being produced by Liv and Maddie producers John D. Beck and Ron Hart. Knight Squad is slated to premiere in March 2018 on Nickelodeon USA.
