Drake Bell Sang the 'Drake & Josh' Theme Song While Walter Watched Like a Proud Dad

Once a TV family, always a TV family.

Drake Bell and Jonathan Goldstein had a mini Drake & Josh reunion in L.A.

They previously reunited to film the saga, Where's Walter?, which continued the adventures of several Drake & Josh characters.
In 2019, Drake Bell and Josh Peck were seen at the Viacom building together.

It's been nearly a year since there was talk of a Drake & Josh revival, with stars Drake Bell and Josh Peck seen together at the Viacom building in L.A. (ViacomCBS owns Nickelodeon, so, like, do the math here.)

The TV brothas talked about a cute spin-off idea in which their kids would be friends and get their own TV show when they filmed a video together for Josh's YouTube channel back in August 2018, and they've made other videos since then. But, unfortunately, no new developments have emerged since.

"Will you have a kid soon so they can be friends and then have their own TV show?" Josh asked. "I'm the father. I'm the dad. It's me," he added — which then makes Walter a grandfather. *faints from nostalgia overload*

However, there was a precious Drake & Josh reunion with Drake and Jonathan Goldstein, who played goofy dad Walter Nichols!

"What a good fake stepson! Thanks @drakebell for the great show and thanks @sammi.jack for taking the video," Jonathan wrote on Instagram.

I, too, would like to thank @sammi.jack (aka Sammi-Jack Martincak) for capturing this wholesome moment. Seriously, Jonathan looks like he's a proud dad at his son's school concert.

In the video, Drake performs the iconic Drake & Josh theme song:

The reunion happened at Whisky a Go Go, a live music venue in West Hollywood, on Wednesday (January 29), but Jonathan didn't post the video until the next day.

Of course, this isn't the first time TV father and stepson have hung out since the show ended. The dynamic duo low-key continued the show characters' exploits for Where's Walter?, a series of shorts in which then pretended that weatherman Walter was missing. Drake took to social media to 'plead' for fans to keep an eye out and let him know if they spotted Walter.

Many Drake & Josh stars came onboard to help with the 'search,' and it resulted in a mega reunion that lasted several weeks. It. Is. Amazing. AMAZING!

But, if the gang could get back on track and make whatever it was they were meeting at Viacom to discuss, that would be great.
