NEW LICENSING DEALS FOR MAGIC LIGHT PICTURES’ PIP AND POSY
London – Monday 23rd January, 2023 – BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated production company Magic Light Pictures has announced two exciting new licensing deals for its hugely popular pre-school series Pip and Posy it was announced today, Monday, January 23rd.
The deals will see Pip and Posy sign up with specialist children’s licensed apparel supplier Blues Group for a delightful range of daywear, and with Aykroyds and TDP for a snug range of nightwear, plus, underwear and swimwear. Both ranges will be launching in time for Spring Summer 2024, coinciding with World Book Day.
In addition, Pip and Posy will be joining Channel 5’s preschool strand Milkshake! favourites to bring their special brand of play to the UK’s largest holiday park operator Parkdean Resorts throughout 2023. Pip and Posy will be a key part of the holiday parks’ special ‘Milkshake! Mornings’, a series of live entertainment shows featuring arts and crafts, games, singalongs, and dancing, held across 40 of Parkdean’s sites.

Based on the books by Axel Scheffler, Pip and Posy are the best of friends whose lives revolve around a wonderful world of play. Packed with warmth and humour, the series is a joyful celebration of their great friendship with all its ups and downs, laughter and games.
Magic Light Pictures holds global distribution and merchandising rights to Pip and Posy (excluding publishing) and is building a full consumer products programme to complement the property. Tie-in publishing from Nosy Crow launched in 2022, alongside personalised gifting from Star Editions. They will soon be joined by puzzles from Ravensburger, dress up and partyware from Amscan, and audio figures from Tonies. The Pip and Posy characters are also appearing in Milkshake! Live and will be touring nationwide throughout 2022 and 2023.
