Nickelodeon India, operated by JioStar under license from Paramount Networks EMEAA, has revamped its Nickelodeon HD+ channel into a high-definition simulcast of the main Nickelodeon channel. The channel transitioned into its new format on Monday 15th June 2026 at 6:00am IST.
Prior to the revamp, the channel operated independently from the main Nickelodeon channel, primarily airing Nickelodeon shows imported from the U.S., such as SpongeBob SquarePants, as opposed to the mainly locally-produced programming that airs on Nick India, such as Motu Patlu. Whilst no longer on the air, programming from Nickelodeon USA continues to be available on Nickelodeon's streaming home, JioHotstar.
The biggest difference between the newly relaunched Nick HD+ channel and Nickelodeon India is that Nickelodeon HD+ airs teleshopping.
