.Under the Boardwalk, the brand new theatrical film from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, will receive a limited theatrical run on Friday, October 27! The news was announced by David Soren, who served as a writer and director on the movie, on X/Twitter.

Under the Boardwalk is described as a pop punk jukebox musical comedy that follows the hermit crabs who live under the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore. When Armen (a land crab townie) falls in love with Ramona (a sea crab tourist) tensions between their friends and families rise. But when a storm casts the duo far from home, their love will lead them on an epic adventure which unites the divided community. The film is touted as Paramount Animation's first musical feature.

Under the Boardwalk stars Gideon Adlon as Denise, Steve Schirripa as Rocco Marinara, Cassandra Scerbo as Loretta, Sea Crab Mom, Sharon Angela as Mrs. Marinara, Joseph Balderrama as Chauncy, Nick A. Fisher as Looper, Jana Bernard as Loretta, Jenna Lea Rosen as Townie Crab: soloist, David Ian Salter as Unicorn Crab, and Matt DiMona as a Ensemble Vocalist. Ron Funches, Benjamin Mackey, Keke Palmer, Michael Cera and Bobby Cannavale also feature in unspecified roles.
