THQ Nordic to Showcase 'SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake' During Save The Date 2022 Event

THQ Nordic will showcase their upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants video game SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake during the company's Save The Date 2022 event on Friday, August 12, 2022! Scroll down below for the event's trailer as well as more information about the all new game!

Brace yourselves!

We are hosting our second annual digital showcase on August 12th at 12.00 AM PDT / 3 PM EDT / 8 PM BST / 21:00 CEST / 10 PM EEST on YouTube, Twitch and Steam! We're going to announce new games as well as provide you with updates on previously announced titles. 

Which games exactly or who will be the host of show are still top secret, but you'll get hints, when we are getting closer to that date. But you can look forward to everything from intense, dark and gritty to light, colorful and just plain fun! And if you turn in early, you can also get a glimpse on what our friends from HandyGames are up to. Same procedure as every year!

Nickelodeon to Premiere 'Star Trek: Prodigy' in Russia and Kazakhstan on Monday 11th April 2022

Nickelodeon will reportedly premiere Star Trek: Prodigy on Monday 11th April 2022 at 20:00 in Russia (Россия) and at 20:30 in Kazakhstan (Қазақстан). The series is locally titled Звёздный путь: Протозвезда (Star Trek: Protostar) in Russia.


I say reportedly, as due Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine, Paramount Global is in the midst of suspending operations in Russia, including taking Nickelodeon, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. temporarily off-air.

Produced by the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and CBS Studios’ Eye Animation Production, STAR TREK: PRODIGY made its debut in October 2021 is already a hit amongst Paramount+ subscribers, and had the top-performing premiere day out of any original animated kids series on the service. Currently in its first season, Star Trek: Prodigy will return with new episodes later this year on Paramount+. The series was recently renewed for a second season, which is slated to premiere in 2023.

Developed by Emmy® Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (“Trollhunters” and “Ninjago”), the CG-animated series STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the first “Star Trek” series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the “Star Trek” franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

Nickelodeon France to Premiere 'Star Trek: Prodigy' on April 18, 2022

Nickelodeon France will premiere Star Trek: Prodigy, the brand new CG-animated Star Trek series from Nickelodeon on Monday 18th April 2022 at 19:05!


In France, the launch of Star Trek: Prodigy will be supported by a national billboard and digital billboard advertising campaign, as well as on social networks.
