A first-of-its-kind promotion on the service, Paramount+ is encouraging its subscribers to seek hidden QR codes within the platform’s A Mountain of Entertainment™ for a chance to win. To enter the sweepstakes, viewers must search for buried QR codes that appear before popular series and movies, which can be scanned to open a landing page with further submission guidelines.

Hints will be planted each week on @ParamountPlus social platforms to point viewers to the next set of codes hidden throughout the service’s broad and diverse content offering. New codes will be dropped every Thursday, starting today for three weeks, offering subscribers nine chances to win.

Fortnite Officially Unveils TMNT Skins

Fortnite officially reveals its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle skins and a lot of new content as part of its Winterfest 2023 event.

Fortnite has officially revealed its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed skins: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello, and reporter April O'Neil are going to be hitting the game's shop. Alongside, the Winterfest 2023 event has also been announced with a lot of new content that Fortnite fans might want to take a look at.

Fortnite is a highly popular online battle royale video game developed by Epic Games, where 100 players compete to be the last person or team standing. The title has featured partnerships with iconic franchises like Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars, and various musicians, bringing characters, skins, and themed events into the Fortnite world. A few months ago, a leak suggested a possible crossover between Fortnite and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fans should be excited now since Fortnite has officially confirmed this totally-tubular collaboration.

Fortnite revealed a set of TMNT skins as part of the Winterfest 2023 celebrations. The TMNT set features the four renowned turtles, each bringing their distinct style to the Fortnite universe. Each Ninja Turtle has its own pose, character model, and attributes. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello will be available for purchase, along with the inclusion of April O'Neil. The skins are not based on the designs that appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, instead offering looks that pull from various TMNT media, including the original animated series and the comics from IDW.

While the exact release date remains undisclosed, these skins are expected to debut during Fortnite's Winterfest 2023 event.

Like the Turtles, the April O’Neil Outfit has a LEGO Style!

Introduced with the v28.01 December 14 hotfix, Fortnite's Winterfest 2023 will run from December 14, 2023, to January 2, 2024, and will feature a number of winter and holiday themed cosmetics. This festive event offers players a chance to unwrap 14 free gifts, including new outfits and gliders that players can grab by collecting them from the quests tab each day. Among those freebies, players can expect to see the Winterfest Bushranger and Holiday Boxy outfits. The Winterfest Bushranger, Holiday Boxy, TMNT, and April O'Neil outfits will all have LEGO styles, though Epic Games has not shared any images of what those will look like. 

In addition, the event also brought the Ship It! Express game mode. In the limited-time experience of Ship It! Express, players step into the shoes of a shipping representative. The mode is like a common battle royale match but with only thrown weapons and consumables allowed. This mode also offers a peculiar gameplay dynamic within a zero-build environment, pushing players to be more aggressive. The goal is to eliminate enemies in fast-paced chaos, where everyone is launching explosives in a frantic attempt to secure victory.

The free gifts can be redeemed each day through the Quests tab, but the gifts will stack, so players won't have to claim them each day. However, it should be noted that these free games will only be available through January 2nd at 9 a.m. ET, so Fortnite fans should plan on claiming them quickly before time runs out! 

Players subscribed to Fortnite Crew should keep an eye out since the game has also announced that those logging in during Winterfest will receive the Gilded Style of the Glorious Giftblade Back Bling as part of the package. The Winterfest experience extends beyond passive gift-giving, incorporating interactive elements like quests and a new game mode.

The introduction of the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters to Fortnite adds a layer of excitement, especially for fans of the franchise. As Fortnite continues to evolve, these collaborations contribute to its ongoing popularity.

2023 has been a very big year for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The theatrical release of Mutant Mayhem was a pretty big deal, but the characters have also been popping up in all kinds of video games this year. The Fortnite crossover is just the latest example, as the heroes in a half shell also appeared in games like Minecraft, Street Fighter 6, Fall Guys, and Session: Skate Sim. Several characters from the franchise also appeared as playable fighters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, including Donatello, Raphael, and April O'Neil, with Rocksteady arriving as a DLC fighter in 2024. 

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have a long history in gaming, going all the way back to the NES era. This year did not see the Turtles star in their own video game, but DLC was released for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. There are also at least two more TMNT games currently in development. 2024 will see the release of a brand-new video game based on Mutant Mayhem, which will act as a sequel to the film. A video game based on The Last Ronin is also in the works, though no release window is currently known.

Paramount Acquires Worldwide Rights To Thriller ‘Depravity’ Starring Victoria Justice

Paramount Global Content Distribution has acquired the worldwide rights to movie Depravity (previously known as Sic), Deadline reports. The film marks the directorial debut of The Fighter and The Finest Hours screenwriter Paul Tamasy, who also wrote the script.

The thriller stars actor and singer Victoria Justice (Zoey 101, Victorious, The Tutor), model and actor Devon Ross (Irma Vep), Taylor John Smith (Where The Crawdads Sing), Sasha Luss (Anna) and Dermot Mulroney (Hanna). 

The pic follows three residents of an old apartment building who suspect their creepy neighbor is a serial killer and after acting on their suspicions, stumble upon an art heist worth millions. 

The project marks model Ross’s first ever movie after recently making her screen debut in HBO Max series Irma Vep.

Tamasy produced the film alongside Dorothy Aufiero, Jordan Gertner, Scott Clayton, Wych Kaosayananda, and Gary A. Hirsch. 

Sejin Croninger negotiated the deal on behalf of Paramount Global Content Distribution with producers Clayton and Gertner. 

The project was shot at Baang Rig Studios in Thailand, with the Southeast Asian country standing in for the U.S. Deadline are told backing comes from Thai sources and a U.S. company which wasn’t disclosed.

Tamasy previously worked with his producing partner Aufiero on The Fighter, Patriots Day, and the The Finest Hours.
