James Corden is stepping away from his desk at The Late Late Show, which takes its final bow on Thursday, April 27 at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
Dubbed The Last Last Late Late Show with James Corden, the episode caps off the comedian’s eight years leading the live talk show series. The 44-year-old actor and late-night host revealed that Harry Styles and Will Farrell will join him for his last episode, while Adele will close out the final ride of Carpool Karaoke, which will air April 26 at 10 p.m. ET before the talk show’s final broadcast.

Actor Martin Delaney, known for playing Jason Summerbee in Renford Rejects, recently revealed a bit of trivia about Nickelodeon UK's beloved football-themed comedy series!
In the series, Alex Norton (Two Doors Down) plays Eddie McAvoy, the owner of the local cafe "Graceland" where the Rejects hang out. However, Eddie was originally going to be portrayed by a different actor!
In the original pilot episode of Renford Rejects, Eddie was played by late Scottish actor Campbell Morrison (Eldorado, EastEnders, Jeeves & Wooster, Dream Team) - and you can even get to see Morrison in the very first episode of Renford Rejects! At the end of "One For The Guys", after the newly-formed Rejects win their first game against the Razors, a "random" man runs onto the pitch to celebrate with the team, who so happens to be Morrison!
Sadly, Morrison passed away on January 10, 2008, aged 55.
At the moment, there's no way to re-watch Renford Rejects. Nick UK & Ireland used to air reruns during the early hours, but these have stopped. The show has never been released on DVD - although fans would love a DVD set! The series is currently not available on streaming services like Netflix or Amazon, however, hopefully when Paramount+ launched in the U.K. in 2022, the service will include Renford Rejects in its programming library.

ViacomCBS is set to launch its highly anticipated streaming service, Paramount+ on Thursday, March 4, 2021. A rebrand of the current CBS All Access, the digital subscription video on-demand (SVOD) and live streaming service will combine CBS’ network programming via its 150-plus local affiliates, including NFL games, with a menu of original series, catch-up viewing and library shows with dedicated hubs for ViacomCBS’ core cable properties including Nickelodeon, MTV, BET and Comedy Central, for a total of some 30,000 titles.
To promote the debut of Paramount+, ViacomCBS has launched "Paramount Mountain", a new advertising campaign in the style of a David Attenborough documentary starring featuring talent and characters from the ViacomCBS portfolio, such as Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer and PAW Patrol and CBS late-night host James Corden - who had a guest role earlier in his acting career on Nickelodeon UK's Renford Rejects in the '90s, playing "Razor 1" - on a journey to reach “Paramount Mountain.”
The ad campaign, which combines animation and live-action aims to make Paramount+ stand out by promoting its range of content, including live sports, news, movies and TV shows.
The first ad in the “Paramount Mountain” ad campaign features PAW Patrol's Chase and Skye along with Dora the Explorer and James Corden riding on a snowmobile. Other notables include Star Trek: Strange New Worlds characters Capt. Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and Science Officer Spock (Ethan Peck) and Gayle King, Beavis & Butthead and Jeff Probst, as well as Jersey Shore's Snooki:
The David Attenborough-type narrator, who sounds like a lot like former Doctor Who actor Tom Baker, then reveals what types of characters viewers can expect on the Paramount+ service, listing off, "World travelers... world champions... and also, Snooki, of the Jersey Shore." At that point, the real Snooki appears on screen in a fur jacket and notes, "This sucks. I'm too hungover for this." The video ends with the promise that a variety of live sports, breaking news and a mountain of entertainment will also be available.
Dora the Explorer takes center stage as the leader in the second advert, which sees the heroine enlists the help of her trusty Map - although fellow traveller Coach William Cowher tries to one-up her by pretending to have a Talking Clipboard! Joining Dora and Cowher is DJ Khaled and Blue Blood's Tom Selleck:
The "Paramount Mountain" campaign be a major part of the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl, which air on CBS, in which a series of ads in and bookended by the games will feature.
The broader ad campaign will total more than 6,000 spots airing across the company’s TV networks, which also include Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, CMT and Comedy Central. The campaign will use promotional inventory reserved for so-called house ads instead of commercial ad time sold to other marketers.
The extensive TV effort will be complemented by ads running on ViacomCBS’ digital platforms, such as the free streaming service Pluto TV, and social channels.
One of the top priorities for ViacomCBS following the merger was to establish a system for companywide marketing efforts making use of an expanded portfolio of assets. This included creating a group of 17 top marketing executives overseeing a committee of 65 employees, including media planners and social-media staffers, meeting regularly. Making use of owned assets has become a familiar model for the streaming services of media conglomerates as they try to take on the likes of Netflix, which just topped 200 million subscribers.
Set to launch in the U.S. and Canada on March 4, Paramount+ will feature original content as well as shows from CBS and other broadcast and cable networks such as Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, Comedy Central, BET, and Paramount Network. Showtime and Noggin, the sister streaming services to CBS All Access, will continue to operate separately from Paramount+, although programming from the latter will also be available on Paramount+. Some Showtime-branded originals will be ticketed for the new service and some form of bundling is likely down the line. There is currently no word on whether NickHits will continue.
In addition, the company has also revealed the new slate of original series that are currently being in development under Paramount+. This includes: a new spy drama series titled Lioness which hails from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan: a miniseries titled The Offer which centers around the making of the iconic crime drama The Godfather; and an iCarly revival series, with most of the shows original cast.
ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish told Wall Street analysts last May that the streaming platform would be getting a rebranding that will also expand internationally over the next 12 months. After the quarterly earnings call, the service began its updating by adding over 100 films from the Paramount vault including the Star Trek franchise, The Godfather, Terms of Endearment and An Inconvenient Truth.
Other networks set to have programming debut on the platform include Nickelodeon, Smithsonian and the Paramount Network and a select number of specials and series from BET, which launched its own streaming service in September entitled BET+.
As of the end of March, CBS All Access and Showtime together had 13.5 million subscribers, which was a 50% increase from the same quarter last year, with general streaming revenue also rising 50% in the quarter to $471 million, estimated to stem from more viewers quarantining and looking for a variety of programming.
ViacomCBS will also bring Paramount+ to international markets with initial debuts in Latin America on March 4, 2021; the Nordics on March 25, 2021; and Australia in mid-2021. The CBS All Access service in Canada will be rebranded to Paramount+ on March 4, 2021, and an expanded offering will be available later in the year.
There is currently no word whether there are plans to launch Paramount+ in the U.K.
While prices for Paramount+ have yet to be revealed, CBS All Access currently offers two pricing tiers: one charges $5.99 a month for access to its library with limited commercials played during programming and another costs $9.99 a month with no ads.

When we see or hear James Corden's name, we think of the British actor and comedian's hit comedy Gavin & Stacy or his current hit, The Late Late Show. But did you know that he got his start on Nickelodeon?
Yep! One of Corden's earliest roles (his third credited role to be exact, according to the IMDb) was on Nickelodeon UK's hit football (soccer) themed comedy, Renford Rejects, which followed the lives of a group of teenagers who failed to get into their school football team, so they started their own five-a-side.
Corden only appeared in one episode, "Don Bruno", the second episode from the show's first series (or season) in 1998. In the episode, he portrays "Razor 1", one of the players in the Rejects' arch-rival team, the Razors.
Corden's character was a bit of a bully, who threatens faux-Italian Bruno di Gradi (aka Barry Grade, played by Grange Hill's Paul Parris). Momma mia!
Although Renford Rejects was a Nick UK show, the first season did air internationally, including on Nickelodeon Games & Sports (Nick GAS) and Nickelodeon Australia.

Remembering Renford Rejects with Bill Homewood and Tom Weller | Nineties 'n' Noughties UK
In this first episode of the Nineties 'n' Noughties Podcast, Jamie Dyer discusses the Nickelodeon series Renford Rejects, and speaks to two cast members about their experience of working on the show. Renford Rejects was a teen comedy that ran for four series, spanning 52 episodes between 1998 and 2001 on Nickelodeon UK. It followed the lives of a group of teenagers who failed to get into their school football team, so they started their own five-a-side. What followed was a marvellous mix of clever dialogue, a great soundtrack, likeable characters, and many guest stars. It starred Martin Delaney (Zero Dark Thirty), Adam Dean, Roger Davies, Paul Parris, Charlie Rolland, Matthew Leitch, Holly Davidson, Lucy Punch, Megan Bertie and Alex Norton (Two Doors Down).
The theatre industry can be a tough one to crack, particularly for those starting out. Most parents whose children tell them they want to perform will have two burning ambitions of their own: to support them in following their passion, but also to avoid potential pitfalls along the way. Here are some key tips and reminders to help parents achieve both those aims. In a recent article in The Stage, Renford Rejects star Martin Delaney gave his advice on how parents of children who aspire to be actors can best support their kids.
Having graduated from West End productions of Oliver! and Peter Pan, and fondly remembered as the chip-loving Jason Summerbee in Nickelodeon UK's hit comedy Renford Rejects, to more adult roles on prime time TV and films such as Zero Dark Thirty, Martin has successfully made the transition from child to adult actor.
His advice to parents who would like to give their own children the same chance? To keep it real. “Let them be themselves. There’s nothing worse than pushy parents who want their child to be a certain way. Let them practise, let them play, let them learn. It’s important that any young actor brings whatever they have inside them. That authenticity will take them where they want to go.”
The Nickelodeon UK & Ireland network will stop airing Teleshopping during the small hours and start broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week from Tuesday 1st January 2019! The changes will affect Nickelodeon, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. Too, which currently closedown and air infomercials each night between 12:00am - 3:00am.
Nickelodeon UK & Ireland have previously experimented broadcasting 24/7, but for the most part, has been airing Teleshopping each night during the early hours on Nick, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. Too (formally Nick Jr. 2) since around 2010. Nick Jr. was the only Nickelodeon channel that broadcast 24/7 in the UK.
During their newly expanded hours, Nick, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. Too will now air a raft of popular older Nickelodeon shows, including U.K. productions Renford Rejects, House of Anubis, Summer in Transylvania, Genie in the House and Ben and Holly every night between 12-3:00am. Renford Rejects is a single-camera teen sitcom produced and broadcast by Nickelodeon UK between 1998 and 2001. The show briefly aired in the United States on Nick GaS. The series ran for 52 episodes over four seasons, and was Nickelodeon UK's first locally produced sitcom.
The show concerned a five-a-side school football team, made up of aspiring players who had been turned down by their school's main team. They were named "Renford Rejects" when a rival player sabotaged their league entry form, but decided to stick with the name as it suited their "outcast" nature.

The episode "Ciao Bambino" featured EastEnders actress Leila Birch, playing Bruno's love interest Gina. Birch and Parris went on to become engaged in real life after meeting on the show. The club trainer Leo was played by Mark Smith, who had recently left the ITV show Gladiators. The show also featured several comedians in guest roles, including Tony Slattery ("Boyband"), David Baddiel ("Reject TV") and Alexei Sayle ("Action").
A number of famous guest stars from the world of football appeared as themselves throughout the course of the series. These included Ian Rush, Gianfranco Zola, Martin Keown, Shaka Hislop, Roberto Di Matteo, Jon Harley, John Terry, Kasey Keller, Harry Redknapp with the West Ham first team, Jim Rosenthal, Bob Wilson, Stan Bowles, and various members of England's 1966 World Cup-winning team.
For its theme song, Renford Rejects used "Australia" by the Manic Street Preachers, a popular contemporary indie song.
Renford Rejects also used an edited version of Rob Dougan's Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Mix) from his breakthrough album Furious Angels when the Rejects rivals, The Razors, would appear on screen. "Ready to Go" by Republica was another song that is often heard on the program. "A Girl Like You" by Edwyn Collins, was the song for Robin in the first season.
The show was filmed at Willesden Sports Centre, London, NW10 3QX. Eddie McAvoy's Gracelands Cafe was filmed at 118 College Road, Willesden, London NW10 5HD. The 'Cafe' still exists to this current day.

This talented actor starred as Jason Summerbee in Nickelodeon’s BAFTA nominated Renford Rejects and as Paul Webb in the popular show Family Affairs, which lead him to earn a British Soap Awards nomination for Best Newcomer and Best Actor. Martin went on to join the cast of New Zealand’s highest rated drama Shortland Street, playing chef Samuel Whittaker. Delaney went on to play in some of the UK’s highest rating shows, including Two Pints of Lager, Rock & Chips, Him & Her, Robin Hood, Pie in the Sky, Wycliffe, The Promise & The Shadow Line.
On the big screen Martin has worked alongside many British greats, such as Paul Scofield, Malcolm MacDowell and Gerard Butler, in movies such as The Little Riders, Beowulf & Grendel, Stormhouse & Judas Ghost. Breaking America he played in the Oscar Nominated Flags of our Fathers (Clint Eastwood) & the recent Oscar winning Zero Dark Thirty (Kathryn Bigelow).
Martin also is an Ambassador for Kick 4 Life, a foundation that helps children in Africa get tested for HIV.
