• From Black Bear, Academy Award-winning director Daniel Roher makes his narrative feature debut with Tuner, a gripping thriller about Niki (Woodall), a gifted young piano tuner whose heightened sense of hearing leads him to discover an unexpected aptitude for cracking safes — turning his carefully ordered life upside down.

• With his once-promising musical career behind him, Niki works across New York alongside his mentor Harry Horowitz (Hoffman), tuning pianos and encountering a colorful range of clients. When criminals discover that Niki’s extraordinary ear is as useful for opening safes as it is for tuning Steinways, he is pulled into an increasingly dangerous world of high-stakes theft.

• At the same time, Niki forms an unexpected connection with composition student Ruthie (Liu), but his growing involvement in safecracking threatens their budding romance. In Sesame Street: Friends & Fun, players move into the neighbourhood just as preparations begin for a big community celebration. Taking on the role of the newest resident on Sesame Street, players can fully customise their character and join their neighbours in getting everything ready for the party, with the adventure unfolding through interactive storytelling and playful surprises. Along the way, players can expect to befriend the residents, including Elmo, Grover, Bert and Ernie.

Sesame Street: Friends & Fun encourages exploration in safe and welcoming locations inspired by the show. Players can create and customise their own character, personalise their home, and explore the colourful street through light challenges and engaging activities. Mini-games and interactive tasks are woven throughout the story, introducing early math skills and concepts.

Designed specifically for young children, the focus is on a warm, funny, heartfelt story without pressure. Intuitive controls and positive reinforcement make it an accessible first gaming experience for preschoolers. Grown-ups, siblings and friends can also join in the fun with two-player local co-op, and parents can feel confident letting children explore independently in a trusted world that has supported families for generations.

Winx Club: The Magic Is Back [Rainbow]

Six new episodes of Winx Club: The Magic Is Back, the CGI reimagining of the globally popular animation franchise, will premiere on Netflix Tuesday, July 28. Produced by Rainbow, the next installment brings heightened stakes, new threats and a fresh remix of the fan-favorite theme “Forever Winx,” performed by Virginia Bocelli (daughter of renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli). The official Part 2 trailer was unveiled today.

First launched in 2004, Winx Club became a global animation phenomenon, captivating a generation of fans with its blend of magic, friendship, music and fashion. Reimagined with 3D CG animation and a contemporary visual style, Winx Club: The Magic Is Back is aimed at both longtime fans and a new generation of viewers discovering the series for the first time.

The series follows Bloom, an ordinary girl from Earth who discovers she is a fairy in possession of an ancient and mysterious power: the Dragon Flame. After enrolling at the prestigious Alfea School for Fairies and Witches, Bloom meets the fairies who become her closest allies — together forming the Winx Club, a team of young fairies devoted to protecting the Magical Dimension. Along the way, the six heroines learn that true strength lies not only in magic, but in courage, empathy and determination.

Part 2 Synopsis: In these six new episodes, Bloom returns to Gardenia in search of answers about her past — but the Trix strike first, and Bloom’s parents vanish. Stripped of her powers, Bloom teams up with the Winx and Hunter to track down her parents and recover the Dragon Flame. Meanwhile, the villainous Vexius manipulates Damien into turning against his own sister, and Tecna’s malfunctioning magic sends the team to Zenith — straight into an ambush by Damien and his army of Omega monster.

As Vexius’ dark magic descends on Alfea, the Winx must master an ancient power to save their school. The instalment builds to a thrilling finale, “Into the Woods,” in which Bloom is paired with Diaspro for a critical test – one she sabotages with unexpecte d help from the Trix. As secrets unravel and the battles intensify, the Winx must find a way to work together to save the fate of the Magical Dimension.

Ahead of the new episodes, Rainbow is also launching Winx Songs Universe, the most comprehensive Winx Club music collection ever released, bringing together the franchise’s complete catalog of more than 450 songs across YouTube, alongside tracks on Spotify and other major streaming platforms. May 15, 2026 - What would you change to fit in? In Amy Wang's bold and provocative debut Slanted, the answer is everything. Arriving today, May 15, exclusively on Paramount+, the buzzy coming-of-age satire follows a Chinese-American teen willing to go to shocking lengths to become prom queen - offering a razor-sharp take on identity, belonging and the price of chasing perfection.

• Written, produced and directed by visionary screenwriter Amy Wang (Brothers Sun, From Scratch), Slanted focuses on Chinese-American teenager Joan Huang, who desperately dreams of being crowned prom queen. Fearing the only way to win is to look like past prom queens, Huang undergoes an experimental cosmetic procedure that changes patients' ethnicity, turning them white, but at great cost.

• Slanted stars Shirley Chen (Beast Beast, Dìdi) as Joan Huang and McKenna Grace (Regretting You, Sunrise on the Reaping, Scream 7) as Joan's caucasian alter ego, Jo Hunt. Additional cast members include Vivian Wu (The Joy Luck Club, Away, The Afterparty), Fang Du (The Haves and the Have Nots, Madam Secretary), Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever, Freakier Friday) and Amelie Zilber (Emily in Paris, Grown-ish).

• Upon its release, Slanted received praise from a variety of premier publications. Variety, hailed the film as "undeniably daring," while The Los Angeles Times praised Wang's use of her lived experience growing up Chinese-Australian, proclaiming "Slanted nails the micr-aggressions, body dysmorphia and desire to belong that can make coming of age while being 'other' its own perplexing kind of hell." The film also won the Grand Jury Prize in the Narrative Feature Competition at the SXSW 2025 Film & TV Festival.
