Hasbro and Sesame Workshop today (Oct. 28) debuted the final video in their first-ever YouTube collaboration series starring Elmo and Peppa Pig, with Sounds of Sesame Street, premiering today on both the Peppa Pig and Sesame Street YouTube channels. The video brings Peppa and George to Sesame Street, where Elmo is on hand to introduce them to some very familiar friends, each with favorite sounds and activities to share.

In the final video, Cookie Monster makes a quick case for cookies (or “biscuits,” as Peppa and George say) while Abby Cadabby enlists Peppa and George to help her write a rhyming spell about one of Peppa’s all-time favorite activities: jumping in muddy puddles. The muddy splashes spark Elmo’s favorite sound — the laughter of his friends — which, with Peppa, George and Abby all together on Sesame Street, is in plentiful supply.

Getting to bring these characters together around the things they love most, from muddy puddles to Cookie Monster’s biscuits, is the kind of storytelling that reminds you why both of these franchises have meant so much to so many families for so long.”

George’s appearance in Sounds of Sesame Street is part of an ongoing chapter in his character’s journey. In February 2026, Peppa Pig introduced a new storyline in which George is revealed to be moderately deaf, developed in partnership with the National Deaf Children’s Society and the Hearing Loss Association of America to authentically reflect the experiences of deaf children and their families.
The video is the third and final installment of the Peppa Pig x Sesame Street YouTube collaboration series, which launched September 2 with Elmo and Peppa’s Muddy Puddles (Dance Remix) and continued September 24 with a US vs. UK Pronunciation YouTube Short.
